does a 5sfe from a 6th gen celica bolt into a 7th gen corolla? i dunno if they had changed the mounts between the 7afe and a 5sfe in the celica, just wondering cuz i can get that motor for pretty cheap

To answer your first question, yes the 5S-FE will drop in although you'll have to modify the engine mounts. You could probably ask Dr. Tweak for some help on that since 6GC's also came with 7A-FE's and he's done several 3S-GTE swaps onto them. I mention the 3S because they have the same mounts as the 5S. What were your intentions with the 5S-FE?

LOL, that engine has totally different mounts, ecu etc. If you're willing to go through the trouble of swapping from an A-series engine to an S-series. (which by the way will be ALOT harder than you'd think) you may as well swap in a 3SGTE not a puny 5S-FE.

    Just find yourself a 4A-GZE / 4AGE instead.
