Does anyone know of all the varieties of 4AGE's (16V, 20V blacktop, 20V silvertop, etc.) and their pros/cons? I've come up with mixed results in resesrching these things.

well youve got the 4agze..... good simple formula for a turbo buildup or to just leave supercharged and mod accordingly

i personally have a slight hard on for the blacktop 20 valve...... map sensored and 4 individual throttle bodies

and im not going to just rattle off facts and engine specs..... ask what you would like to know

blacktop and silvertop; what's the difference other thatn the color of the valve cover?

mainly the ecu... and that the blacktop has lighter internals (worse for boost, but better for high revving)

IMO 20V is way over-rated.... i swapped in a smallport 16V into my ae92 (running off tuned 4a-fe ecu)... turns out the motor is bad.... but a friend of mine has a good silvertop 20V in his 6th gen celica and he can't outrun me (mainly because my ae92 is lighter... but still)

you wanna know about 4age's? just type it into google and you'll have soooo many hits that you'll be reading all day. there are sooo many pages that compare the different 4 series

weight makes a big difference...i think you guys have a similar torque curve 1.6 is 1.6 heheh. what do i know
