4AGE in 8th gen

4AGE in 8th gen

Has this been done? I'm interested to see if there are any running around. Hopefully with a Black top.

I haven't seen anyone that has done it here.

But I've seen alot of 8th gen swaps in Manila:
- 4A-GE (RedTop, ST, BT)
- 4A-GZE
- 4E-FTE
- 3S-GTE
- 4A-FTE

actually now that I think of it you could probably use a 5MT tranny mount for a 8th gen.

I might want to do a Black top swap sometime in the far future.

same, when ever my 1zz craps out i'ma d some sort of a swap.

what ever i come across at the scrappers first...lol unless i get it from an importer.

It won't crap out. LOL It's too reliable.

damn...lol she drinks the oil now but no smoke yet and 200k on the original valve seals and piston rings, funny how i want a reliable engine but not this one, would much rather something around 200hp at the wheels, but she still runs good and is peppy for a automatic slush box

all engine mounts line up except for the tranny side.. However I believe if you get a 6speed tranny (w/ mount) it would line up with little to no fabrication.
