    4/7A-FE Crank & Rod question

Ok.... According to autos.msn.com The 97 4a-fe vs. the 7a-fe stroke is
    (4a)3.29 vs. (71)3.40.

My question is, does the extra length stroke come from the Rods? Or the Crank? Or a combination of the two? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
