    3sgte swap

    has anyone done it to their 8th gen? if you know someone who has done it, please let me know..


    is it reasonable? i mean, it's only 2.0L...it should fit right?

    also is there a site that tells you engine weight for 3sgte and 1zzfe? i couldnt find it

    nice... i was wondering, isn't there a law against swapping in an older engine than what you have?

    so if i was an 01, i technically can't swap this in right? the only one even using a 2000 year 3sgte is the caldina which is only available in japan i think..

    is there a way around this law i mean, how will i ever be caught?

    It's actually really old news. Remember the bright orange ELPrototypes 500 hp 3SGTE powered 98 corolla with huge TRD decals down the sides? Does anyone still have pics of that beast? I've heard it fire up, idle, and rev. It's crazy. The whole car shakes when its merely revving. I've heard, the chassis twists when you take off.
