the "custom" parts are what costs a shit load of money unless you have the hook ups. I really wanted to do that with my corolla but i couldn't find anyone who would make it for me for a decent reasonable price. but at least now I got what i wanted so i'm not complaining.

Always wanted a 3S in my corolla because of the extra power. LIked the idea of turbo but i've always been a fan of NA engines so 3SGE was fine. wanted AWD, rear disc brakes, 2 doors, etc. But when pricing everything out, at the time I bought my corolla for about 9G's and after calculating all the upgrades, it would easily cost me another 10-14 more so i never did it. Then one day i totaled my car and got my self my dream car. a subaru. :)

I guess getting a bit off subject from this thread but yeah i love it. its my dream car since middle school when I saw richard burns tear up the tracks and then comes colin.. haha. childhood heros i guess. Anyway, if you want an RS, one of the first places you can check is rs25.com. someone is always selling an RS at a city near you. lol. some are already modded so its a bit expensive but there are a lot of people selling their cars right now due to the economy but there are also many who are selling because its that age when they now have a family and need a larger car. RS's are about the size of a 8th gen or earlier corolla.

Interesting. Funny how life always throws everyone a curve ball. So many people in the world, so many balls to throw, lol, but everyone still gets a curve ball somehow, strange.

Talk to Vortex dude and see if this is something that's worth the time and cash for your car man, if so I'd be willing to give you a hand for the swap. I'm no master mechanic or anything but I'm always down to help.
