    2JZ-GTE VVTi wiring help needed

    Hey guys!!!

Just found this site and am in desparate need of a wiring diagram for a 1999 2JZ-GTE VVTi.... engine, ECU/ECM, body (1999 Supra).

I am in the process of wiring this engine up into my 1990 Supra and can not find any info (wiring-wise) and am hoping that maybe some of our overseas members (Japan, Australia, Germany, etc) can maybe see if their Toyota/Lexus dealers can get them the factory service manual or other wiring info for the 1999 Supra. There is absolutely no info in the US for it.

Please talk to your contacts, friends, or whomever and just email me with any info that ya have. I will pay for the manuals, or whatever. THANX in advance....

no offense, but i doubt u'll find much help here, since this is a corolla board.

try some supra forums, or www.toyotanation.com/forum

however, the title of the site is VVTI.net, not COROLLASONLY.net

Yeah, I figured. However, seems like some of your members are also swapping "grey market" engines into their rides and tho a Supra is different than a Corrolla, we're all into our Toyotas. Just hoping that someone here has overseas contacts or other means for getting some of the same wiring info that they'd need if doing some crazy swap. Like I said... kinda desperate and any info from anywhere is greatly appreciated. You guys seem to have a good head start with the use and understanding of VVTi, etc. Thanx...

i did a few searches around the net. Unless you register at a supra only forum, thats the only way to get the wiring. I looked everywhere.

i never said he doesn't belong on here or anything, i was just saying it'd be pretty hard to get help on here, while it'd probably be much easier on a more specific to supra's forum

Thanx anyways guys.... I already have all of those diagrams. Thing is, the 1999 Supra was produced in Japan and NEVER marketed/sold in the US. You can find everything, up 'til 1998. There were some significant changes in the technology used in the 1999 Supra (specifically VVTi on the twinturbo engine). I can't find the 1999 wiring info in any language.

I have checked/searched EVERYWHERE and have been a member of most Supra lists/forums for about 7 years now. Am pretty desparate and thought that someone here may have been able to help. Please keep and eye out and think of me, if ya see anything relative to this.... Thanx again.
