    2003 Corolla -- 8 PSI

I go tmy car up to 8 psi yesterday......It flys now.....I ended up not using my dual stage boost controller because one of the adjusting screws in it is stripped and I can't get it out..so it's stuck on 0 psi.....I bought the single controller from TurboXS. VERY SIMPLE! and it gets to full bost very quickly. 2nd gear is a monster in this car. Soon as I get my new exhaust finished.....it's off to the track and the dyno. If I can fix the Dual stage controller...I'll probably sell it for dirt cheap.

If my Blow off was loud and noticable, I would just drive all the time, dumping on it.

ohh people on hear have actually turbocharged an '03. Did you get yours custom made or just a bolt on? and with 8 psi you'd be around 250 at the wheels i think. I've been wanting to do it but I'm afraid i'll blow the engine and a custom system is real steep.

No way 8psi will get you 250whp. Using the general estimate of 10 whp / 1 psi boost, you will still only be around 200 whp.

just going by what I heard, I was quoted 250 whp with a custom turbo system. But he said 6-7 grand so I'm curious if a bolt on will suffice without needing all custom parts and what not

8 psi on stafford is less then 250.. i think 10 on stafford is 250 whp... take a look at newcelica... and the corolla will be a lil more conservative...

I'm still considering doing it over a new car because...no one expects a rolla to be packing :D. Plus there are so many around here I gotta follow through with the vuteq kit and make this thing one of a kind on the east coast.

no fair...where in maryland? And as far as I knew I'm the only one with the Vuteq A on the east coast :p

Edit: nevermind I can't read, Solomans is a good distance from where I live. Last time I was up there was for my friend when he spread his mom's ashes by solomans island.

Don't fret...I don't have the vuteq kit yet...and probaly won't for a long time...I'm focusing more on performance parts for now. Although I do have my eye on one of those CF hoods that didn't come out perfect....they sell them for dirt cheap.

eh watch the shipping, I think my back bumper was bent because I had huge gaps and I've been trying to get it flush. And if I could od it all over again I'd go your route. but meh I'm still gonn aput boost on it :D

it has to be better than my back bumper...that cheap piece of shit. I got it wa back when X3M was selling kits for the 03's. I got the back bumper put on because my stock one was dented. POS...I have almost an inch gap and the wheel wells won't line up for shit. I ended up giving the front bumper away for free.

yeah I used to have huge gaps from the center to the edges, so me and a friend drilled bolts into 2 more spots away from the center on little tabs. Now it sticks out between the center and the bolts. and I'm too lazy to toy with it because I'll just get pissed and rip it off :D

yeah 250 is a little steep for 8psi........I think SF's matrix made 205whp at 5psi. Of course they could have just put that on there.

alright but for the record a custom setup is the way to go. I'm just gonna start saving and when I get to the point I'll either put some Induction on the corolla or buy a new car.
