    2001 Corolla exhaust leak

I have an exhaust leak on my 01 corolla that appears to be coming from where the manifold meets the pipe that connects to the cat. It is held together with 2 springs and bolts. Does anyone know if there is a gasket there?

yeah this actually a very common problem. I have seen it on multiple corolla's. There is a ring in between where the manifold meets the exhaust. It a little bit of a pain in the neck because the if I remember correctly the 02 sensor is in the way.

I had to change it on my corolla and the exhaust leak went away.

Yeah me too. I thought I had fixed it by using form-a-gasket but now it's making a nasty vibrating noise. You can hear it outside the car. sooo annoying.
