Thoughts on my car? I would like to do a 2jz swap and convert left hand drive to right hand drive soon. Any tips or advice?

Thats definitely new, pictures are a little hard to see but if you plan on doing what you mentioned... you have A LOT of work ahead of you.

Its on the road to rat. I have 1 fender rusting out currently. I put my own twist onto things. I dont know what to call it. I am doing a Euro ratstyle mixed with street art and some of my own tastes.

I do not believe that a 2JZ will fit in this engine bay without extremely heavy fabrication (for RWD), and it's likely impossible if you want to keep it FWD.

You might be able to find an AE111 half-cut, which would have the necessary components to convert your car to RHD.

IS-300 axles implies RWD. What driveshaft? What tranny? There's no tranny/ds tunnel in this car, so that must have been one hell of a conversion! The wheelbase is off, but the rear track is within 1" between the two.

I've been an 8th gen guy since 2002 and I have never seen any evidence of a 2JZ conversion.

There are a few AE101s, however, that have this conversion done. There is damn near nothing left of the original Corolla at that point though. No interior, no front firewall, fuel cell needed, etc...

JZ swap is a good fit for both MKII and MKIII Supras.

I know all the work needed to be done. See I want to do something no one does. It is possible and I know nothing will be "corolla" there is a reason to my madness. It is a challenge! that is the point! buying a supra is too easy, its the same with hondas. people mod them cause its easier and unchallenging.

    Sounds like a plan!

I think just parts alone will cost at least $4000.

I was gonna say, that's not traditionally "rat" style, or ratrod. But it sure is different, can't say I've ever seen anything like it before!

And good luck with the RWD and RHD conversion. With enough money and motivation, you can do anything! :awyeah:

Nope because he doesn't turn into a little bitch when told something is gonna be a pain in the ass and expensive. Sounds like he doesn't care that it's a waste of money to do this to "just a corolla".

X2^^ If you can do something about the plastic bumpers that'll be good. I've seen a fully rusted corolla before but the bumpers, being plastic, stood out a lot.

What this one? The bumper doesn't seem to stand out that much, it looks just as crappy as the rest of it lol.
