    17" rims back rub problem

i got some 17x7 rims with 205x40x17 tires. when i put a lot of weight on the back, the rear tires rub on dips and what not.

are there special springs i can buy to remedy this minor problem?

i don't know where exactly they rub because i'm hearing it when i drive.

The offset is in the high 40's i believe. like 47 or something.

I have an '01 and I had the same problem it is probably rubbing on the outside of the tire. I just rolled the fenders in a little bit and the problem went away.

Do you already have aftermarket springs and struts? If not, I would highly recommend getting some.
