Engine 16.23 @ 86.80 MPH

    16.23 @ 86.80 MPH

    Went to the track for the first time in the Rolla (not the first time at the track though). Ran a 16.23 with a Cosmo CAI. The car has bad wheel hop so my next mod will definately be the energy mounts and some better tires. If I can get the 60' down I should be able to hit a 16.0 and maybe a 15.9.

    Ill try to scan the slips later.

    sounds about right. Yah i hated that wheel hop. rev to 3k then HOP whomp whomp. :roll: That was really annoying when i went to the drag strip.

    But you can get 16.1-15.9 on a stock corolla. Just takes some practice. I got 16.1 on bald tires :p

    I ran a 16.1 about 2 months ago, and on friday, I ran a 16 flat. with the mounts. I feel like it could have run a little better, but I didnt have time to make another pass, we got there too late, theres always next time.

    I will surely try but i dont think thta it is possible with header/motor mounts :( ....from harldy a 15.8 (15.897) to a 15.75? would be nice but I dont think that its possible.

    Oh yea I raced a newer Firebird v6 auto today from a roll 45 mph and I took him all the way to 95. I threw it into 3rd going 45. I was impressed.

    I should hope so... a heavy ass V6 firebird. What a waste of money! and an AUTO at that! haha they are my favorite cars to "mess around with"... V6 stangs, camaros, and firebirds. :lol:

    I'm shooting for a 15.7 or better when I go. I really need some stickier tires now that I have an LSD though, that way I can launch at high RPM's and take off like a rocket. I'm shooting for a 2.0 flat 60' time but that will be hard to do :?
