You can boost anything :p Just don't know how long it will last, get a proper tune-up done, compression all the cylinder, and im sure there are other things im forgetting, and you should be able to boost that engine with moderate boost (6~7 PSI) reliably for awhile...

But wait and see what other people tell you to do... you should aslo check the engine accessories, etc. (water pump, fuel pump, etc.)

Yeah make sure the car hasn't been abused before you go trying to run some boost. With 150000 miles there's been alot of time for things to go wrong, so make sure you take care of maintenance before you try any performance parts on the car.

If it turns out that engine is on it's last leg, look at swapping in the 4agze, which is supercharged stock.

why dont you rebuild the engine internals that way you can run 13 lbs of boost. that would be alot cheaper than buing a new engine.

dude... a replacement engine would cost at most for a 4afe or 7afe about 4-500...
Internals - new pistons, rings, cams, cam gears, connecting rods, bearings, etc... would easily cost over 1-2,000
