    1,500 for manual swap

Alright my boss and I got all the parts we need for the swap from our parts suppliers. He said I'll be paying no more then 1,500 for the swap with new clutch and everything. Only thing used is the tranny. It sounds alot, but I'm just gonna do this instead of paying monthly and start over on a new car.
BTW do you guys know of anyone that has done the swap so I can find out what problems I'll run into. We start working on it sometime next week.

You shouldn't run into many problems... Honestly the swap I did on the 98 I figured I'd have a lot more issues than I did... all the stuff I ran into was *MINOR* at best. under $1500 is good deal man. Everything tallied up on mine the total cost was pretty close to $1250. :) Good luck, and happy shifting!

I would've thought it'd be less for 93-97.. but since the tranny is the only thing used, I guess that make sense.

I got everything as a package. The tranny has less then 60,000 miles on it and the parts should arrive this week or next week at the latest. I went ahead on getting all new parts cause I really don't pay much for labor really cause me and my boss is doing the job. After the car starts to run I'm thinking of getting some more power like turbo or nitrous.

ooh that sounds like a good idea.. only problem is those trannys are at lest 10yrs old. How reliable would it be to swap in a tranny that old?
