Engine 05 TRD Intake Problem

    05 TRD Intake Problem

    Okay, Just got my TRD intake today and installed it. Maybe I am just stupid, but I do not see VSV 2. I see the #1. And when it is all said and done, I am left with a crankcase breather that originally plugged into the elbow between the Throttle Body and the stock piping. Then I am left with the hose that I unplugged from VSV 1 so I could run the new hose from that to the vent on the intake. What am I supposed to do with these 2 hoses? I have no where to plug them into.

    Did they change all this in 05?

    yes they changed the 05's throttle body and vacuum hose routing... it has to do with the drive by wire technology they just introduced in the 05.. (no throttle cable its all electronically controlled). any intake that are made for the 03-04 models will not work on the 05 with out modification of the intake tube. sorry for the bad news
