04 CE Aftermarket Power Install shop recomendations

I wanted to install power locks on my 04 CE. I believe the OEM route to be very expensive and the aftermarket route very complicated. I visted a couple of shops and they some said $ 50 per door and some said not possible as some bracket missing from factory and it could be done but too expensive and could cost $ 100 per door. I gave up the idea and after discovering this forum I thought someone could help me out. I wanted to know any particular brand of aftermarket power locks that are good and its avaliability and any recomended installers/shops in the Los Angeles(glendale/pasadena/Alhambra) area.
Would I need to buy any switches from the dealer to have the option of locking or unlocking when seated inside or will every thing come in the kit.
    Any information would be appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance

if the 50 dolllars a door includes an aftermarket alarm like for example

DEI or other dei affiliated like viper that will be a good deal...out the door 210 dollars

they have to install actuators in each of ur door and requires extra work for the shop

those small motors takes time have u checked al and ed's? in pasadena they used to have good prices on these things...

    just my 2 cents

seriously installing power lock isn't that easy , neither hard , but be sure to have all the hardware. i did mine and it has cost me around 120 (cnd) for all 4 doors , so 50 per. doors is a good price imo .

cuz22 so you actually got it done and working on your car?
I also heard that it would be very costly to do on our cars because something was missing.

I recently purchased power door locks and an alarm from A1 Electric Automotive (check their web site) I didn't know at the time that all four locks on the 04 Corolla are cable type. I recommend you purchase their cable type kit if you buy from them. It comes with the proper clamps for the cable.( I had to make mine). You have to cut part of the cable housing away to attach the linkage to the actual cable. Anyway I have the two front doors in and working fine and the backs look to be easier than the fronts! :D :D
