    Inconceivable!!!

UMM...I'm not a specialist on this but thats not possible. Thats just plain crazy. But, if you see yourself doing it, then let me know how you did it.

Anything is possible with enough money, but that will be 100% custom work, nothing will line up, nothing will fit, will need a custom wiring harness made (or a piggyback ecu for the engine, and you could keep ur stock harness for everything else)... also, the 2JZ was designed for RWD applications, and I dont know if there are any FWD transmissions that will bolt up to it that can handle the power...

Best bet, sell your 03 and buy an 05 XRS (170hp vs your 130hp, and a 6 speed manual vs your 5 speed manual)... or get the the TRD supercharger for your engine, gives more power and more torque... other than that, you could swap in a 2ZZ-GE from a celica gt-s (but its basically the same engine as the 05 XRS)... and thats really it...

Ok so that is pretty much outta the question then. What would be a good engine swap then? Would a celica engine fit or a jdm engine? Thanks for the reply by the way

well the 2JZ would have NO chance of fitting just based on its size and the fact that its an Inline 6. A 1JZ-GTE would have a better chance, but even that would take an insane amount of custom work if its possible at all.

really, just go with what Teevee said.

Ohhh, and if you have the money, you could put in a 3SGTE (up to 265hp depending on the year)... but they do not fit in readily either, custom work, but they do fit...

true, a 3S will fit with alot of custom work, but at least it will fit. I dont know of anyone who's dont that swap in any corolla newer than 97 though. I remember someone from CC who did the swap into a 91. His dad was a Toyota master tech and even they ran into alot of problems. Once it was in though, the car was FAST

a 1JZGTE has no chance either, nor does a 5mge, 7mg(t)e, or 1ggte. At least not if you want a transmission as well.

That being said, I would love for someone to prove me wrong.

None of the inline 6 engines could fit, UNLESS you changed your car to RWD. Then, as mentioned, it would be fully custom... basically building a new car.

The two best options for swaps are:

    2ZZGE (Matrix XRS, Celica GTS)
    3SGTE (Celica GT4)

Dude, I Dont See Why It Is Impossible...if You Are Going To Swap Out The Engine, You Might As Well Use The Same Supra Tranny And Make Yourrolla Rwd, Make It Stand Out Even More. And If You Wanted To Use It In A Fwd, Use The Same Dinamics As A Vw Beetle, Be Creative. But If You Do It I Do Agree, You Can't Hold Back On Anything When Attempting Something Like That. And I Think It Would Fit. Might Have To Shave Some Wheel Modlings Though :d

A well built, turbocharged 1zz will be more than enough power to get into massive amounts of trouble.

If you are planning on going RWD, get a different car.

trade in your rolla for a 97 or younger celica, then swap it with a supra engine. Fair trade you should get about 12-13 for an 03. Then just go and buy the engine.

    but im just talking here

Caps lock key is right under the tab key, above the shift key, on the left side of your keyboard.

No, it's not possible unless you made the car RWD, which is possible but very difficult and expensive.

You can't put the Supra engine in and keep it FWD, because the engine is TOO LONG. The engine itself might fit, but then guess what? No room for a tranny. If you don't agree then I suggest you look at an inline 6 sometime. I have a V6 engine in my shop right now that I was thinking about putting into a Corolla, and even then, it's going to be very hard to fit a tranny in there.

The 2ZZGE is a redesigned and beefed up 1ZZFE, thats why the torque is the same. Plus they're both 1.8 liter, u would expect the torque to be similar anyways.

Dude, putting a engine in the rear was also impossible until Tucker made it happen and later until the Germans did it. Where there is a will there is a way. I understand what you are saying about the tranny clearance prob but if you are doing that swap, you wouldnt be worried about a 5k custom tranny to hook up....the only prob I see is making the front suspension stiff because of the extra weight...you could put air bags but then it isnt true race worthy

yes, you can put the old supra with a single turbo into the engine of a 1zzfe (corolla03+) and possibly older models. as per Toysport. in Gardena, much money and time.

If you n00bs seriously want to convert your cars to RWD, consider this way. Get the drivetrain from the AWD Matrix and disconnect the front half-shafts. Done.
