03 rolla front brakepads out at 28K miles?

    03 rolla front brakepads out at 28K miles?

    Just curious if this sounds about the avg lifetime of front brake pads.
    The 03 corolla has about 28k miles and its starting to squeal a tad.
    Every time i wash the car and hose down the front wheels, theres always a considerable amount of brake dust. More than my previous vehicles.
    Just curious if anyone else experience this?

    I've heard stories about brake pads averaging at least 40 to 50k miles.
    I'm sticking to toyota brake pads unless someone else suggests a better longer lasting product.

    :D 28k miles aint so bad then, i was just worried if the rotors were warped or something.
    any suggestions if the trd brake pads are any better than the toyota stock pads?

    Youd know if the rotors are warped if you have a vibration upon braking.
