    03+ ECU in 01?

Just wondering if we can use the ECU from auto 03+ into auto 01?
Are they use the same tranny? How about the ECU? will they fit? The plugs are the same? Will I get 130hp after that?

Honestly, if you wanna do it, call up toyota, directly, not through a dealership, and just ask them what the differences are. They could give you a good idea of what all would need to be done.

I can almost guarantee that it wont work, hell... the 03 and 04 ECUs are so different that they wont work. The fuel map is alot different. Also, just changing the ECU wont get you the HP of an 03'

Well, since ppl can put 00+ Celica GT ECU into 01 and gain some noticable hp, just wondering if 03+ ECU will do the same thing. :D
