Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think anyone makes a header for the 98-02 1ZZ-FE

when I called ELP a while back, they said it was in "development" and he said it will be available "soon"... but like I said, that was a while back! Other than that, no one else makes them.

They've been in "development" for like a year or more now...I doubt they even remember it :D

That header is for the 03+. It bolts up to the 98-02 1ZZ-FE but the length of it is to much and hangs down to far. So I wouldn't work on the 98-02 corollas. Supposedly "Hotshots" was gonna make one for our cars but no one wanted to lend them a car for R&D so it never got done.

Our cars are actually very efficent for a stock header. Most of the aftermarket headers are designed the way our stock one is :)

    ^^^good point^^^

i was reading in a magazine a while back where they swapped some engine into a Celcia (3g-ste?) and ran a massive turbo setup but stuck with the stock manifold because it was the most efficient.

Alpha Werks aint got the headers yet..still in "production" Im pretty sure if a big group of us asked and let them know we are interested they would start making them. Or let me know I know one of the representatives. Peace

Your best bet is getting one custom made... i'm planning on getting my header and cat-back 2.25" in the near future... I already have a nice muffler so that'll do it for all my necessary exhaust setup.

Some one has some sense here :D The stock one is awesome for a stock piece. For the ones that want a header look at the one on your car and you will see how good it is!

I used to want a header...but after seeing what the stock one looks like....its not worth it. You might as well port your stock one.
