    with your original plan it will be low beams or high's not both so not oem to 8.5 spec. on 01-02 they use both high and lows at the same time...

    Get a morimoto h4 harness it lets you keep the high and low on at the same time the harness you're gonna make will only run one set at a time...

    do what i did get a morimoto h4 harness, this way you can still use your high beams and low beams at the same time... and you dont have to cut...
