From behind - looks sort of like a Nissan Murano with Infinity G35 rear tail lamps. I'm digging the engine choice (probably will not get a manual transmission option - like with the new Rav4s). But I think this will price the Corolla out of its intended class - I think it would have been smarter to introduced a forced induction variant to replace the sportier XRS model.

its is a toyota (manufactures tend to put a different emblem for that particular car if its limited or "special") aka the "S" emblem for the Nissan Skyline. Anyway the car shown has a deeper front air dam lowered about an inch slightly bigger wheels, different grille (better actually), and the orginal has all red for the tailights and some have the optional rear spoiler and sideskirts. The V6 model has been around since 00' over here in Japan, but nothing bigger than the current 2.0 V6. Just DUAL DOHC VVT-i was added in 06' which is why it has better performance now.

I think it looks great. I would be interested in trading up on this as soon as one comes in, for real.

Looks good, but man Toyota needs to get some better names. "BLADE"???? they need a cooler name. I cant think of any off the top of my head and for some reason "Avensis" keeps coming up which is already out but yeah.. i just dont like the name.

I wish they would come out with a new trueno. I was such a fan of that car.

you think BLADE is bad? man if you were in Japan you'd be WTF there are some cars called "exciting version" and relax version, there are really cars that have that as names to the tirm level. Blade is actually pretty good when compared to the rest of the names they have for them.

I love Japanese names. You either dont really understand the names until you research it or the names just sound extremely funny. I dont recall "exciting version" but "relax version" i've heard of.. makes me want to relax and take a nap in the car.

no understand them, its just WTF why would you want to put that on the car. just the interior alone and the outside graphics give it away.
