Racial Profiling...

Why must people always use this when it comes to being pulled over or having to deal with the cops or anyone from the govt in some way?!?!

For those of you who do not know who Marion Barry is. He's a DC Councilmember and is the former Mayor of DC. He's had a rough past and still does, IMO. So he admits there was a clerical error which caused his license to show up suspended. The cops admit to it as well. And now he turns around and says it was racial profiling for getting pulled over. If he was driving too slow then so be it. Admit to it or stfu! Its not his fault or the cops fault for the clerical error. I dont' think this will even make it far in court...if it even gets there.

sounds very annoying to have to deal with but most likely wasn't racial profiling. yet it could have been some other type of intentional mistake

its crazy to even know people think he can do good for the community. I wouldn't back a person with that type of background.

Not to stir a racial war in here, but its true. Racial profiling (for the most part) is just a quick line used to get out of trouble. For instance: We had a black female come into my store, grab one of our products and run out the door of it in front of my manger and myself. My manager ran her down w/ security and asked for the glasses back to which she responded "you are only accusing me because i'm black." ....no we accused her because she blatantly stole, but what ever. I mean there are some instances of racial profiling, but for the most part it just an annoying gimic.
