    Shift knob Question...

    alright guys..
i'm planning to change my 01 corolla shift knob.
i saw this momo shift knob, but the push button is on top.
and the one on the corolla is on the side. would it be possible to use the momo even though the push button is on top??
if yes, would it be a lot of work to do so??
    thnx

it'll fit.. it'll become apparent once you remove the OEM one.

A picture of the shift knob would be useful.

Is this the one you're gonna get?

If so, that's not an overdrive(OD) button on the top. That the button you use to shift from P-R-N-D-2-L.

    This is what I use:

The OD button is in the side and the shifter lever is the black part on top.

I got MOMO shifter instaled in my '02. Push button in stock shifter is on the side
but rod that disengage shifter is being push down.
Instalation is very simple, took me maybe 20 min.
If it goes for OD button, i did relocate using momentary switch.
I got little bit of labor involved in my setup because i also shortened my shifter
about 2''. If you got any more questions just ask. I will be glad to help.
