    Wii

Just came back from Gamestop....the Wii's come out at midnight tonight and all of the systems at this particular store have already been accounted for....but I was surprised to walk in and find one on display but they wouldnt let you play it....the guy did give us a demonstration tho and it looked pretty freakin cool....I was never sold on the Wii until he started playing it...looks very interactive and the graphics arent too bad either...

here are pictures of the Wii I saw taken with my camera phone...the Wii was next to the XBOX 360, that too is pretty fun to play...

boooo XBOX 360 all the way. i say that but i do respect the PS3's blue ray drive and the Wii's controler innovation.

On my way into work this morning, I stopped at two stores and got one from each store. Best Buy had 110 units, and the Costco near my work had 65 units. My mom is going to buy one from me for my brother/sister.

There wont be a big shortage of Wiis before christmas...Ive read that they plan on brining in over 2million units by xmas.

Yea but they are averaging $600 on ebay. The price of ps3s dropped insanely on ebay in one day.

Guy at target was wrong. Theyre expecting a total shipment of at least another million units by the end of 2006. Anyone that pays more than listed price for a Wii is crazy

I already called two stores that said they are getting a 2nd shipment today. 1 day after release. I think Nintendo is going to keep a stready flow going to a lot of the big retailers.

i only had to stand in line for 2 hours to get one. people in front of me waited all night. i got it as a gift for my nephews and neice, so i haven't had a chance to play it. i plan on picking one up though. after that, i will get a ps3 when all the bugs are worked out. keep calling the stores because they will get more in weekly. the initial release for the wii was 4 million so there are plenty out there. no need to pay over the msrp for it.

Eh it was a good expierence. I got free stuff from parents of crack addicts who put their kids in rehab becuase they had a seminar across the street and they had to do a project and they sang to us and bought us hot chocolate and doughnuts and other goodies as well as money for our time. It was like a total of 8 hours of random people coming to us and singing and doing wierd tricks. Was fun. Met a few people and met a guy who has a hookup with someone who works for Sony. He said he may be able to get me a 60gb for $450 so Im hoping that works out. If it does then the wait was well worth it.

    Be nice! :D

I get my Wii today, could not find one yesterday in Kitsap County so I called my friend who works at Nintendo and he said that they increased their limit to 2 per employee so he is going to pick me up one today. I'm getting the Wii, Component Cables and Extra Remote for $290. I can't wait. I played it for the first time last night at his house and I'm completely hooked on bowling :D

250 bucks, then 60 bucks for the extra controllers.........extra dough for component cables......45-50 bucks for games. It adds up, but I think its still worth it.

I got my Wii and played the crap out of it :) The sports game does rock, bowling is my favorite by far, I can play it game after game fo hours on end. I got an extra controller for it but the component cables were sold out. I'm glad I got one though, now I just need to wait for some other really great games to come out.
