how much does it cost to fix the starter solenoid?

    HI,

I am just curious how much it costs to fix the starter solenoid in your area. Not replacing the whole unit, but but 1 parts to repair the starter. I had mine done for $180 US, but I think it's a bit over priced when I see on the internet that the time taken should be 45 mins to 1 hour, but the shop charges me 2.5 hours and the parts is $40, but I saw online it's somewhere from $10-25.

let me know how much you paid for yours and share your idea thanks.

its cheaper to go out and buy a starter for $130 and install it yourself, unless u dont have the time or the knowledge to do it...
