    Grey interior on 98-02

    Hi,

Which one of you guys have the grey interior instead of the tan. I'm trying to figure out which model came with the grey interior so I can avoid those models to swap my VE interior with. Thanks.

I know 01-02 at least the S came with the charcoal interior
CE & LE had a choice of either beige or tan, with me being so unlucky as to get a car with tan in my LE.

blah. That was what I was afraid of, but from the pictures of that car on ebay and what I brought the colors look close enough maybe it will still look good with the two colors. I'm hoping that it is just the camera that makes it look so grey. I guess we will know when it gets here.

I'm hoping he doesn't know what the exact color is and chose grey as the easiest color to describe it. Tan and grey looks pretty close if you ask me. Maybe I'm color blind. I just picked up some weatherstrip today from the dealership and at first glance it looks grey like it was wrong, but it was tan. I dunno.

That is grey! I have a 2000 CE with grey interior. If u put that in ur car, it's gonna stick out like a sore thumb.

Corolla DX-R~ Yes we have the VE, CE, & LE models, VE being the "Value Edition"

I would give anything to have an "S" interior (all black).

Yay! The console came! It was grey, but the difference is not bad. At least to me, maybe I am color blinded. You guys decide. And it is installed, DIY coming up tonight.

My old one does not have the armrest piece with the cap to cover the lid box. Nor did it have that sunglass holder. What I really wanted was a 01-02 piece which is even taller and has an aux. power outlet, but I can't complain for what I paid for it. ;)

Only in 2 of the pictures can you really tell a difference in the colors. It's the lighting. If it is dim, you can't see a difference. Only in direct sunlight can you see the difference. Its really not as bad as people think. Nowhere near an eyesore.
