I read about this over the weekend. If I was there and knew cameras would be around, I'd be a little more careful with what I say and what not. The only question in my mind is, did they ever sign a release form? If they did, who knows how their case may hold up in court.

Hahahahaha, this is going to be just like the Girls Gone Wild law suites, thrown out because they are on video actually speaking of their own free will with knowledge of the camera. The fact that they were drunk was their own damn fault :D

ha ha. That's here at my university. University of South Carolina. Those frat boys are from Psi Chi or whatever. It's not John Doe 1 and 2 because their names are all over the school paper.

    Heading for trouble?
Current, former students face fallout from 'Borat' farce

A disheveled Borat Sagdiyev tries to hitch a ride to California. He was picked up by three USC students in an RV.
The trouble started when three friends were approached by who they thought was Kazakh reporter Borat Sagdiyev.
David Corcoran, one of three then-USC students featured in the "mockumentary," told FHM magazine that, "This guy said they were filming a Kazakh reporter who wanted to hang out with frat guys."
"They paid for us to drink at a bar," Corcoran said. "Then we were supposed to pick Borat up in an RV."
What ensued was a filmed exchange that has been seen by millions of people nationwide as a scene in the No. 1 box office hit, "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan."
The exchange has received the condemnation of the university, as well as their fraternity brothers.
Corcoran, graduate Justin Seay and a friend are shown in the movie making comments against women and blacks. They are clearly identified as members of USC's chapter of Chi Psi fraternity.
Soon, Corcoran and his friends realized just how much trouble their appearance could cause.
"One of the guys looked Borat up on the web. My first thought was 'What if my mom finds out?'" Corcoran told FHM.
Stuart Edworthy, a third-year student, said he was surprised when he saw the movie - both to see USC students and to hear their remarks.
Edworthy said if he had seen the movie before coming to USC, it may have changed his opinion and affected his decision to attend the university.
Since their cameo, Corcoran has transferred to Binghamton University in New York, Seay has graduated and the third student is no longer active in the chapter, said Chi Psi Chapter President Todd Bailey, a fourth-year finance student.
With the three either gone from USC or laying low, much of the backlash from their comments has been targeted toward Chi Psi, whose campus chapter consists of 57 brothers and 12 pledges.
"Some people say there is no such thing as bad publicity," Bailey said. "We don't agree."
Bailey said the movie has inaccurately portrayed the organization.
"Chi Psi strives to hold itself to a higher standard, and this is obviously a situation which has not helped our chapter nor has it represented the values and ideals that we hold."
In a statement released to the media, Brad Beskin, director of operations for Chi Psi's national offices, condemned the three men's statements.
He said Chi Psi was taking the matter seriously and intended to address it through its internal processes.
When reached for comment, Beskin declined to say if this meant the chapter would be punished.
University spokesman Russ McKinney said the university also condemned the comments.
He said it was not a positive portrayal of the university or the state of South Carolina and added that the publicity was "unfortunate."
The movie had an $18 million budget and stars British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, also known for the character Ali G.
Since the movie was released, it has grossed more than $100 million worldwide and about $70 million in the U.S.
According to The Associated Press, Seay and one of the other students have filed suit in a Santa Monica, Calif., courthouse, seeking unspecified damage.
The suit claims the three only received $200 compensation, and they signed waivers only after "heavy drinking."
Calls made to Corcoran and Seay were not returned at press time.
