    Brake dust...

I have front and rear disk brakes (conversion) but it seems the rear brakes do not produce brake dust. does this mean that most of the braking power is distributed to the front?

is there anyway to change the brake distribution and how would an increase in braking power to the rear affect handling?

There is a proportioning valve that is supposed to send the proper brake line pressure to each of the brakes and normally it doesn't send half to the front and half to the rear because the front end is much heavier so it needs to have more braking. Too much rear brakes to make an emergency stop would make the rear skid and spin around quickly.

That's all how vehicles are. It has alot to do with momentum too. The front brakes are going to have to work more when traveling forward.

i found that out when i made it 50/50 but now its just 60/40 works excellent IMO since my crap it too big for it.

unless you have bigger than 17 and/or heavier then maybe but not really, the stock corolla has 70% front and 30% rear.
