anyone else becoming not so crazy about cf as time rolls on? it looks good in pictures but to have it on your car everyday in large amounts (more than say, a diffuser, which is still undesireable for me, because of the inconvenience it gives) takes away from a large part of the cars overall clean and attractive appearance.

I don't think people are getting tired of it - maybe more with how it is implemented in many aftermarket products. If it was tastefully done and clean looking - I wouldn't mind going with CF panels. But alot are backed with fiberglass, fibre reinforced plastic, or plain plastic.

well, I definitely do not like it showing anymore, especially on hoods of cars. But who am I? I like very few if any hood scoops or customized hoods. The carbon fiber available for many cars now are very high quality, and quite pricey too, yet if you ignore the price and honestly assess the vehicle with carbon fiber on it, it loses A lot. A beautiful track whore of course, but a beautiful street ride, I think not. Especially outside of the car modification scene.
