    need car advice

I want to get a new. Well need to. Sometime next summer... i wanna sell mine due to engine starting to burn oil and i want to get rid of it before it gets bad.

So i was thinking, maybe a civic or sometin idk....

brand new civic lx or ex coupe or sedan
    used maxima 2002-2004
    altima 2002-2004 V6

i know these cars are in diff classes but they are the pricerange i'm willing to spend.
Gas wise i would like the civic, but spending liek 15k for a civic is insane.
The maxima and altima get like 28 on highway on regular gas and are roughly 12-14k with about 40-50k on them

So what car would u choose?
    or any other car suggestions

My dream would be a IS300 but it gets 24mpg on premium gas plus insurance will sky rocket cause its expensive to fix.

    edit:
i will be doing alot of highway driving and such to visit my gf at her college, currently i visit every other weekend 600 miles round trip.... so gas mileage would be nice.... but idk

ha screw that, the reason y i chose the maxima or altima is cause of the powerful v6, after i got a test drive in my friends 99 max 5 speed, only has a intake but has so much power and is so smooth i want one a v6, but idk

v6 camry se or other model would work. Those look really nice especially the 05-06 models. 07 looks really nice too but probably out of your price range. Decent amount of power yet good gas mileage.

yah and plus it also has a good lifespan and durability

    edit:
you said something about power. if you want power you would have to sacrifice something (gas mileage). kinda contradicting there.

so for mileage, good looks, durability (since you travel alot) i guess my vote is on the camry

With a 2zz-ge in there lol.

EDIT: My moms 05 I4 camry has power. Tons more than my rolla. I tap the pedal and it moves. I floor it and the baby can fly. I still say a v6 camry. It will have tons more power than your rolla. If you want more power, your gonna have to sacrifice gas mileage.

i'd just stick with a V6 Camry, they get decent gas mileage, adequate power, more room than your corolla, and price wise they are pretty good. if i were you this is my next feasible option.

No on the rabbit....rabbit is just the golf. And everyone "thinks" VW's have electrical issues.

Scion Tc are rather good both my brothers have new 2006 Tc 's and they have been trouble free but my only issues with them is Power there very week in stock form to say the least ..

06 Civics are lame with the New body style I looked at the Civic Si in the new body style and Left unimpressed on it new Offering on styling performance and the whole deal honda just didnt seem to give this car the right attitude.....

quality you cant beet Toyota or Lexus I've looked at the New Is from Lexus and really liked that car enought to possibly review one later on....
