I understand what they are, but can you still have a dealership do the bulletin for you even if you are out of main warranty or are they covered under Toyota's extended warranty too.

    2003 with 100k / 10 year extended warranty. 79k miles.

The dealer should cover them as its kinda like a mini recall type thingy. If they dont then just hit up Toyota Corporate and all your problems will be solved :D.

yeah you asked me about that a while back, typically the manufacture will do it if the vehicle has not had the "modifications" done, depending on state it may be reequired by law.

The reason I ask is there's a TSB for the driver side window regulator. This is apparently what's causing the window to rattle when it's down between 1 & 5 inches.

Just trying to figure out if it's something they will do for free when I go in for a drivetrain service.

TSB is pretty much like a silent recall... they wouldnt send out mail to people saying that it has a recall... they just let you know once you're in...

you have to harass them about it to get them to do it, but it should be free. its a manufacturers defect in the component which as was stated by hella is a silent recall. if yours has an issue, its covered.

you can request a copy of the TSB thought Toyota Corp, or ask that they check if any modifications need to be done, and find out if they are going to be charged.

you normally get asked first if u want the TSB done... its a matter of fact if u have time to wait for it to get done...
