    Car Shopping

Alright....time for another car. Here are cars that Ill be checking out:
    2006,2007 Passat
    [IMG]

    2006/07 TSX
    [IMG]

    2004,5 model years
    [IMG]

    2006 Audi A3
    [IMG]

    2004,5,6 Audi A4
    [IMG]

Im leaning towards the Euro cars, of course. More specifically the A3 or 2 door BMW.

Ill even be checking out the wagons as well.....Im keeping the Passat, and Im going to continue to drive that to and from work. Want to keep the miles down on whatever I end up going with.

are you looking for something that you can hook up or just something you can use as a family car.

I personally like the Wagon and the A4

    You know my choice,

    A nice 2007 Legacy GT Spec B.

Spend ~$2000 on mods, and you can be up there with M3's up to 145-150 MPH

Or STi swap, alky injection, and you can leave the M3 and most other Euro's in the dust!

Or you can get the wagon, but not in stickshift.

But yeah, if you are going for a status icon, then stick with Audi or BMW.

Forget the TSX, too anemic with that engine to weight ratio, and the tranny is not that good. Also look at the 2007 G35, 306 HP V6 for around 35K and it also comes in the AWD version.

Status icon? Lol. Nice try there....its not like Im look at Benz's Jags, or Bentleys.

Maybe Ill have to take a look at the subie......and the G35 is a car that catches my eye pretty often as well.

I like that wagon....does it have the same front end as the 4 door?

Yes it comes with the same front end, and the scoop. At least give it a test drive, nothing to loose.

The Spec B is the special edition one with the bilstein suspension, but the GT is a little cheaper, and same engine.

They have the equivalent of the VW ECU tuning computer called COBB AP, and you can load stage 1 and 2 maps, and also get custom tuned maps.

They have great incentives as well.

You can not deny that BMW and Audi come with a certain snob appeal attached to them. Lexus, Infinity and Acura have less of it; not a bad thing, but you know what I mean.

    Sounds good.

Are all black people criminals? Stereotypes are a bad thing :(

Thanks for the recommendation though. Ill consider it.

Here is also a cool video, even though it is an internal Subaru video, it shows some of the Symmetrical AWD goodness against other AWD cars.

Never mind the School teacher narration.

haha I said snob appeal, not stereotype.

If I would have said only WASP's own those brands then yes, that would be a stereotype.

Is like me saying "are all rappers black?", no, but most are! :D

Hahahaha, yeah I have a black board on my wall that I tally each time I pull it off ... Nah, I just live in an area with a high concentraion of BMW's and they cut me off more then any other car on the road, its scary. The AUDI's guys do it too but usually not nearly as often.

The G35 would be sweet, but its all in the eye of the beholder. There's not really a bad choice on your list.
