    Selling Rolla

hey guys..i've been thinking to sell my rolla and get something else.
i was kinda wondering how much u guys think i could get for it??
i don't want to get an trade in cuz they will give me less than its worth.
    it's a 01 corolla with close to 75k miles.
with 17 inch rims with new tires (75% left)
blitz bodykit (installed this year febr.)
    cat axle-back.
new suspension (teins s & tokico's) one month old
never been in accident but has some scratches ...people keep slamming there doors into my car :(
i would appreciate it if u guys could give me an idea how much i could get when selling it.
    thanks.

mods dont do anything to the value of the car, that tends to make people not buy it because they usually want to do the work themselves...im with hookedup96rolla on this 5500-6000 max

you'll never get back what you put in to it... basically the key is when you build an import you build it for yourself, if you want to sell it you need to relize that there is just not a market for modded imports, yeah people will buy them but somebody is not going to be willing to pay 10 grand for a car with 100K on the ticker and has a body kit and exaust... its just not going to happen, now on the other hand the market is totally diffrent with domestics, 30 year old cars can go for tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, more if they are redone, even more still if they have some mild work done to them. moral of the story is buy your imports cheap, and spend the mony that you would have spent buying an expensive one on making it your own, and don't get all bummed when it doesent sell or what you have in to it...

imports w/mods sell quite high over back where i live back home. but thats just me the dealers will actually give you a little extra depending on what kind of mods it has and after a minor inspection.

Yea. Ive seen many mods actually decrease the value of the car. If at all possible revert back to stock if you still got the bumpers/wheels. Then sell your parts. It will be the best way to get the most money. Ive seen souped up integs in papers for sale with real go fast mods. They didnt get didly squat back.

i know what u mean...my friend told me to take out everything and put it back to bone stock and sell the parts. i don't know ..i'm having second thoughts about selling it now..reason why i'm selling it, is because i got tired of it. i basically want something else to play around with. i guess i have to think it over..
    thnx guys

Dont count on it. That is KBB retail private party value. No one is stupid enough to pay that much for the rolla unless for w/e reason they are really desperate for that particular one.

you can always just try and put it up for sale and see what happens, but you have 1 key thing working against you and that it's a corolla. They are grandma or student daily drivers. The mods are absolutely worthless, especially the bodykit. I would put the stock kit on along with a stock exhaust and maybe ask around 500-1000 over what kbb says. people may also not like the suspension, so you can think about putting that back to stock.
