    1970s......

Anyone here wonder what it wouldve been like to have grown up (16, 17, 18+) in the 1970s??? Weed, racing domestics........legal drinking age of 18........less crime, lax laws, less sexual diseases...

I think it wouldve been cool.

I'm with you on that one. Also, the music scene would have been awesome. Led Zeppelin, The Who, Kiss, Black Sabbath.....it would have been cool to go to some of the live performances back in the day. It would be like living Dazed and Confused. I'd pretty much be my dad.

Diso was late 70's.....not as cool. Gas crunch, no more muscle cars.....unless you like mustang II's with landau roofs. You could get a V8, but it only put out something like 130 hp.

Growing up... with no INTERNET! GAH! No, terrible thought, make it stop, make it stop!!

I'll just ask my oldest brother what it was like as he is about ten years older then me, and I'll be 27 in early November. I was born in 1979, the year John Wayne died.

    I'd prefer the mid/late 60's.

minus the racism I'd love the 70s and 60s too. I'm shivering just thinking of being around for the start of Bob Marley's career! Yea, I'd be a hippie.

i definitely don't give a fuck what car was available in the 70's, I'm sure I'd make do. But the culture was definitely attractive
