FYI: Removal of Tundra Front Corner Lens

For those of us, (read: ME) who had difficulty getting the corner lens off, here's a quick bit of information.

Step 1: Open the hood, and loosen the non-removable screw attached to the upper fender, as well as the removable screw on the bottom that is attached to the frame.

Step 2: Where the lens sticks out on the side, *thump* the lens away from the fender fairly firmly.

The lens should come right off. Then there's me, doing the install on my clear corners took 2 hours, because we couldn't figure out how to loosen the bracket on the inside resting on the headlight assembly.

I've still got mine, in the off-hand chance they stop making them and I get into an accident, I don't have to buy OEM ones again. I'm surprised I didn't bust mine into a thousand pieces though.

I found the best move to pop them off is to stand parallel to the fender and using the palm of your hand using the side closest to the vehicle and give it quick and firm hit right on the part that juts out. It may take a few hits, and to prevent scratching paint, make sure to remove any jewelry and watches.

I still have my OEM covers, and I don't plan on going to the black. I had a BAD experience from an eBay seller over them. I had them arrive damaged, and they refused to acknowledge it.
