How to red out tail lights.

    I should probably update that DIY to include adding a layer of clear coat to help keep the shine better. You can also find actualy taillight paint at some specialty car shops or some of the online stores.

    I bought my stuff at michals arts and crafts, and yeah a layer of clearrealy makes them stand out... :)

    Or you could buy a small sheet of Oracal Series 8300 red transparent film, and place it over the amber. Thats what I did with the upper half of my taillights. Its really durable and doesn't fade. Plus, you can take it off easily if you ever want to.

    With your tails it should be much easier since the area you're redding out is smaller.

    Always leave the reverse lights clear. It's a major safety issue if you can properly signal other drivers behind you that you're backing up.

    Well if you take a look at the link I posted above, his reverse lights are redded out also.
