    Brake Recall on '03?

Picking up some brake pads today, I was informed there was a recall on the front discs for the 2003 Tundra. ...considering I purchased mine with 7 miles on it...and I never received a recall notice...I think somebody is pulling my leg. The site where I get all my TSB (technical service bulletin's) also has NO listing of any brake recall. Anyone shed some light on this for me?

you can always call Toyota and they will have to fix any and all recalls that have noe been performed, if there are any recalls to begin with.

Not necessarily. ...you have either 2 or 3 years after the recall notice is issued to get the work done, after that, you're SOL. :)

not for toyota and it varies to state to state. my 98 corolla had the connector on the drivers side airbag faulty and it was replaced right before the car was stolen in FEB 04'. Toyota had issued a recall in 2000 for it and i took it in JAN 04' and by that time the car was already 6 yrs old and i was told it could be replaced pretty much anytime, and texas is starting to get picky about that so that also takes effect, but like i said it varies state to state.
