    anyone know of a good DIY to do this? Thanks.

    I used a vinyl sticker to blacked out my tails. Some people using some kind of paint spray also. I got my vinyl at Stickercity

    I would love to do that but i think i would get harassed by cops for blacking out even the reverse light area.

    heres my tails tinted. pretty dark but i never had a problem with cops around here.

    Im not sure if i have enough posts to do a write up, but i blacked out my tails with 5% static cling tint from walmart!

    only cost me 13 bucks for 6 1/2 feet of tint!

    I have a pair of the black-out GTS Tail-light covers on my Firebird, did fine for about 8 months...cop pulled me over for them and decided to rip them off right there on the side of the road. Fortunately the were held on with double-sided tape.

    that cop was an ass. most cops here in GA don't mind. i just don't understand why ppl have blackened their headlights.

    not the inside of the headlights but the outer. I like the inside blackened but ppls put like headlight covers on it. the object is to see at night.

    Yeah thas why i covered my chrome euros because they shine better, and jus to make sure they shined brighter, i have the LED bulbs
