Miami Vice was a pretty good movie as well. Had that "Collateral" feel to it. The storyline was lacking some, but overall, I give it a B.

Tubbs and Crockett were well represented in Foxx and Farrell. The F430 was a very good choice. I'd like to see this again, though, because I saw this in a shady-looking theater in Ocean City, MD, and I think their copy might've been a bootleg. Crappy video quality, no intro to the film (it just jumped to the first scene from the previews), and it sounded like the audio was coming from a pair of computer speakers. Otherwise, I liked what I saw/heard.

Was that scene a dance club with music? Thats the way the movie started out. It just jumps right into that scene.

Also, all of the night shots had the very grainy filter effect to it.....ALA Collateral style.

So no, you didnt see a bootleg.....that was the way the movie was shot, on purpose.

Audio was alright though, so that may have just been the theatres setup.

Just making sure, but yea, no surround sound and really crappy speakers. The no-intro caught me off guard.
