Engine TRD CAI Install - foglight issue

TRD CAI Install - foglight issue

Just installed the TRD CAI on my 04 S and found that the foglight housing is kind of in the way. a small portiion of Filter is now resting (kind of pushing) against the housing but everything is working great and it sounds NICE. Think I will have any problems due to the foglight? Anyone know of any modifications or other filters that would fit better?

I think the trd cai suppose to have a best fitment, so you shouldnt be running into any kind of problem at all. I think there's something you screwed up.

No, after I bought the CAI, the instructions that came with it said there would be installation issues w/ corolla S models due to the foglight housing. Install was perfect and running sweet, I'm just wondering what others who have installed the CAI have done to modify this(different filter, etc...) and if they have had any longterm issues with the TRD supplied filter resting against the foglight housing.

Allright allright, I'll post some pics here as soon as it stops raining, need to remove the battery and splash gaurd (don't have a garage).
