coil probably broke or something so it's shorting out. I'd say your choices are take it apart and try to rewind the wires by hand or get a new one.

    Amp... Rockford Fosgate 301S

    75 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
    150 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
300 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms
    stereo or bridged mono output
    4-ohm stable in bridged mode
    Tri-Way capable
requires a 10-gauge wiring kit with a 30-amp fuse wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
variable high- and low-pass crossovers (50-250 Hz at 12 dB/octave)
MOSFET power supply and output devices
MEHSA mounting technology increases the heat transfer from the MOSFET output devices to the heat sink, for higher power output, lower operating temperatures, and greater reliability
TOPAZ noise-killing differential inputs that eliminate 80% of ground loop noise
Transana circuitry keeps preamp voltages low and signal paths simple for outstanding audio quality
NOMAD advanced protection circuitry for "intelligent" shutdown protection
variable Punch Bass (0-18 dB boost at 45 Hz)
    speaker- and preamp-level inputs
    11-1/8"W x 2-7/16"H x 9-7/8"D

    Subs... Infinity 1030W

    polypropylene cone
    deep-draw I-beam basket
    70-ounce magnet structure
recommended power range 50-250 watts RMS
    peak power handling 1,000 watts
    frequency response 25-400 Hz
    sensitivity 88 dB
    top mount depth: 5-9/16"
sealed box volume: 0.75 cu. ft.
ported box volume: 1.75 cu. ft

hope that helps... thinking of changing both of them to these ones...

i want kicker subs but...... i have OCD(not serious) and i dont like setups that are not "all the way" i want everything the same brand... so thats why im getting the rockford punch subs instead of kickers... if i have a kicker amp, then i'd get kicker subs... thats just me... so that sub i got on my previous post, is that gonna do the job?
