OK, I recently hooked up my avh-p7600dvd and it sounds great, but when i try to increase the bass in the speaker are it has are frequency's to change. I mean I am used to bass, treb, mid, left right, front rear. This has like 100hz and charts and graphs and all of this other B.S. How do I increase the bass?????:superconf :superconf

Isn't there an option for like Bass, Super Bass, etc? usually that'll set those graphs and hz and things automatically. I'm in the support section of Pioneer right now but its taking forever to load....DAMN PIONEER!! lol.

do you have an amp? have you tried adjusting the controls on that? I had a similar problem on the rolla and instead of adjusting the knobs on the radio, I did it on the built-in amp on the bass tube.

If you do have an amp, then try this. Set the bass to the maximum bass it will give out on the HU and turn the volume up to the point where you feel comfortable listening to it. Then go to the amp and play with the controls. Set it to something that you like. now when you go down in the bass options, it'll go down and still sound good and when u set it to the max, it'll be at something you like.

I set my volume at like 20 and the bass to 5 (the max). Then I played withe controls on the amp to the point where it would hit good but not cause distortion. And so far so good in my car.

If you have no amp, then I have no clue what to tell u about the HU..lol. The most you can do is call Pioneer or look on their website in the support section.

Read about how to tune equalizers. Decreasing and increasing the specific frequencies will give you better tuning control than just a treble and bass.

I've been looking around and couldn't really find a specific "this frequency is going to be this sound-range" guide...best suggestions...play with it...little bits at a time. I may be wrong, but I believe the farther left you go when looking at the EQ, the lower the frequency, being bass.

...but then again, it's been a long time since I played with an equalizer. :D
