    led side view mirrors

does anyone with a 2001 corolla have custom led (turn signals) power side view mirrors?

    i bought these:
    http://store.racinglab.com/to20coslrsil.html

and the mounting brackets DID NOT match up to the car. It didn't come with the rubber layer that goes in between the door and the mounting bracket that seals it from rain.

someone help me out ..if you've successfully mounted a mirror without any custom-work please let me know which ones you have..

I have an 8th gen also, but I did not get SLR style, I got the M3 style one. And when I bought them from ebay, they did not come with any bolts, so I went to Homedepot and got six 6mm x 3/4" bolts. But make sure you get 6mm and not 1/4", otherwise you'll risk cracking the plastic. I dont know if that apply to the SLR base? And as for the rubber boot that sit between the mirror and the door, I just use the stock one and trim alittle here and there to make them fit my M3 mirror.

i also have the m3 style ones with the leds (blue & amber), and everything fit fine, i might have used the rubber pieces from the stock mirrors or none at all and i have not had any leakage problems. Just like SD_S, i had to find screws for mine since they didn't come with them.
