    tail of the Dragon (deal gap)

    Hello all,
    I'm trying to plan a meet at Tail of the Dragon (deals gap) and wanted to know if anybody is interested In a Toyota meet next year May 2007:confused: (date not set as of yet) . If your not aware Tail of the dragon is Located at the heart of all the action, the Deals Gap area is located at the south end of the famous Dragon, home to 318 turns in 11 miles of scenic and twisty US 129. With no distractions, the Dragon winds its way up and over the mountains of Tennessee into North Carolina and is the gateway for all NC has to offer. Like the land that time forgot, you will not find any driveways much less use your cell phone (no signal) , gas stations, subdivisions or mini malls. In place of all the hustle and bustle of big city life, you will find many scenic and beautiful places to stop and take time to soak in all the natural beauty. Many people have come for a visit here and moved here not long after!

    OK who's In ? I've been to this place with the North American Mini group and they have a wonder-full Turn out with 900 people showing up on this event that is dedication people . now it's Time to get Toyota Owners all Involved and all models:D let's make this cool event......

    The CCC guys will drive up to TOTD right after NOPI and staying til Tuesday morning.

    I remember seeing vids of that awhile ago. Looks like a very fun run. But with all the knowledge of the area, I question how much police there is through it.

    Police at the tail of the dragon is rare and they don't seem to mind the act-ivies but I will make you aware driving in Robbins ville NC the Police there isn't so friendly a few Mini cooper buddies of mine received tickets in this area so watch your speed there. Overall the tail of the dragon provides a very good road to drive and enjoy the curves and roads..
    2007 is a long ways off but planning ahead is much better :)

    also Cell phones at tail of the dragon will not work period..
