Yea I wasnt worried about the car at all, just glad that my girlfriend (the passenger :( ) is alright. We both got pretty banged up from it but it's been almost 2 years and nothing too major left from it.

Yea she is very lucky, actually we kind of both are. On the last part of it she was ejected through the front windshield and the car landed on her leg and apparently I aspirated and managed to get through it somehow lol

You say it's your word against hers ... with the damage done and pictures (if you took any) the investigators with your insurance company can tell who's fault it was just by the damage done. I'm sure you know this ... but just thought I'd tell ya anyway...or for the folks who don't know.

Add me to "horrible drivers" list.

Crashed into my buddy's brand new SER.

My old car club were driving from one hangout spot to the next. After we made a right turn, apparently my buddy completely stopped to race another SER. I didn't see them as I had to look to the left for incoming cars before I made the turn. Apparently I was so lost in singing Destiny's Child's Bug a Boo (how could I forget that song) with this pinay passenger that I failed to turn my head fast enough before realizing my friend's exhaust is too close for comfort. I did remember screaming "oh no!! my car!" and completely forgot the well-being of my female passenger at that time. Needless to say, someone else drove her home.

A car accident to remember. One lane highway turning to two I got in the right lane and kid behind me stayed in left. I slowed down bc speed limit went from 45mph to 35mph. He didnt slow down. Well a fox ran out in front of me and first reaction was to swerve (espically considering I just putt about 600.00 into my new front end.) Well in the end he was in my blind spot so it was either swerving right going into a ditch with a telephone pole or left and hoping he wasnt next to me. Well he was and kind of did a P.I.T. maneuver to me. Spun me sideways and then we collided again at about 30 mph. I did a 180 and slid into a curb at about 30 and he went straight forward into the curb jumping a ditch about 30 feet in distance. His airbags blew. He shattered a motor mount cracked his tranny and the whole front end of the car is bent up. His was totalled. And mine was "considered" totalled. I was at fault for the accident but I made an unsafe lane deviation. Long story short I
had liability so Im stuck with a dented ass car He got 3200.00 back for his But luckily he was one of my good friends and helped pay to get my car rolling again. heres the pics

Heres where we collided the first time where he did the PIT to me.

And heres the second collision. Notice the black scuff above his door handle by the window. Thats where my drivers side mirror hit. Its hard to dent that section so you ccan imagine the hit.

My first pride and joy was a 1994 Red Toyota Celica. With all the time and effort I had put into the Celica, I knew one day I was bound to come across some bad luck.

I decided one night to go over to my girls house and have a nice relaxing night over a couple of drinks. We both had a great time and I ended up staying over there. What really sucks is that her mom woke me up the next morning to what has become the worst day of my life....

....As you can see nothing was left untouched in the engine bay, interior and exterior. What really sucks is that I had put on some 17" Konig Rated R wheels (Volk TE-37 copies) about a month before this happened and now they were gone along with everything else.

After some dealings with the Insurance company, I put the Celica back to the way it was before it was vandalized and tried to continue on with my life. The only major upgrade was to the alarm which now had every gadget known to man and was so loud now when it went off, that my nieghbors complained because it would wake them up also :p

I started to attend more smaller shows and was having a grand ole time until one night. I was hanging out with some friends about an hour from my house and finally decided to head home around 2 in the morning. I was at the stop sign right before this really curvy road called Joplin and something came over me.....I for some reason made myself lock and fully tighten down my 4 point harnesses and I continued on home. Then out of no where, three deer came across the road right in front of me on one of the tight turns and I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story....

One of the deer smacked my rear driver side quarter panel which put me into a spin. I then ended up going backwards across the road into the woods where I hit a stump. This caused the car to flip over in a weird angle and landed on the roof. It then rolled back over onto its wheels and I came to a stop in the ditch on the other side of the road.

I know it is ugly but I came out with only a small nick on my knuckle and I can say that being fully strapped in with the 4 point harnesses is what saved my life. I don't know why it was not my time to go but I have lived my life to its fullest since that day. Yes, the Celica was totalled and my pride and joy went to the crushing yard along with all the dreams that I had for her.

Wow. So far, the last 2 accidents in here were do to animals on the road. Did you swerve to miss the deer or did you hit it dead on like you're supposed to?

When I came around the curve, the deer was already running and came across the road and hit me, causing the car to spin out. I did not have time nor the space to swerve due to a ditch and trees right next to the road.

trd98tt, thanks to you last night i had a nightmare that someone stole the rims on my car, but the funny thing was they only took the 2 rims on the passenger side which pissed me off more than taking them all. I think the reason I also had the nightmare was because I just moved into my GF's apartment and the neighborhood is not the best, by that I mean its the good part of town but the apartment complex is full of Mexicans and stoners. So my solution is to park my car close to a curb so they cant get the lift under my car.

HummerH20 i dont like your comment im latino and its easier for white people (no trying offending white people like HummerH20 is offending me but it is the truth) to steal rims than it is for a mexican. You could walk up to a car with 28" rims an remove them in front of police officers and they'll think it is your car right away unlike me when i used to take off my rims to change my brakes police officers would ask me what am i doing to the car and i had to explain that it is mine and had to show them my registration but now i just show my badge.

WOW and I thought that damage to my car was bad, i nearly cried just having my quarter panel and rear right door dented. That happened probably 6 months ago when I was living in the dorms in, got cut off and hit the support pillar of the building to avoid an accident. Finally getting it fixed on monday for $800, that $800 could have been shocks and springs installed. sad, very sad.

Yeah I feel your pain, I am going to drop that bad boy off tomorrow at the shop, it will be gone for a week o well. Yeah now it is rusting as well, sucks it has me worried that the damage is going to be way more significant than what the eye can see on the outside. Damn support pillars lol.

I will post updates of my car when the repairs have been made.

It was pretty simple and dumb actually lol, heading home one night after hanging out with some friends I was turning left at a light and not even fast or leaning in hard and rear tire just spun loose and toggled me left and right a few times while trying to regain control of the bike but momentum just plain tossed me like 20 ft to the right and there she goes! lol

I was on I-87 during light rain storm with some friends cruising along. Made the stupid mistake of moving from the center lane to far right lane to catch an exit about idk maybe 100 to 150ft in front. I signaled and looked between lane changes but this explorer sped up in the exit lane to cut me off, the exit turn came and the damn thing braked hard so it wouldnt roll and i slid when i mashed my brakes on. My hood went up at a 45 degree angle to where i had to stick my head out the window to get home. Left tailight hung out and the right one was left on the road. All that happenend to the explorer was a bent trailer hitch lol which i fixed right on the spot. The worst was seeing it happen in sloooooooooooooooooooow motion but nothing could be done about it. If i pulled the e-brake we woulda got rear ended by the guy behind us, oh well its been fixed...

    Hmmmmmmmmm,

Lets see... it was about 6 years back I had my encounter with a forest goat(white tail deer). Simple put... "performance brake pads need heat to work"

Driving home... haven't touched the brake in over 5 miles... deer leaps over guarl rail(left) and I step on the brakes....
... what seemed an eternity, but was likely les than .5 seconds NOTHING happens(very little). I swerve towrds the shoulder, lefts on pavement, rights on crud on the shoulder, and that is when the brakes work!

Snap spin 180 across the highway and wipe out the fender, the 1/4 and the taillamp panel in my black AE86.

Now for more recent, less violent, BUT with pictures!!!

    1) Dude... watch out for that car port post

see the slide show/process of the repair!.... http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j143/oldeskewltoy/2006 OUCH/?action=view&current=f051aec3.pbw

    2) What happens when you hit a Geo at 7 mph with a Jap bumper

My sister crashed her Corolla @ 50 mph into some small trees and a stone mailbox. Too bad I didn't take pics of how f**ked up the passenger fender, inner lining, front bumper, front wheels, headlight and corner light and and bumper reinforcement bar were. I still have the bumper lying around my storage. I fixed the car myself a week later.

Hooray for cheap parts, boo for cheap fitment.
