^^Damn you beat me to it but I was sweeping and mopping the floors at the store. I am really thankful for everyone here and everyone at corollacustomz who told me that it was a scam. I thought it was a scam too but I thought it couldnt be because no sick bastard would make up a story about his son losing his life in the war. I guess I was wrong. Sick bastards will do anything these days. Thanks to everyone again. You saved me tons and tons of money.

If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish, odds are........ its a fish. Sorry you got scammed man but it was obvious. A badly wrecked 97NA would be at least $3K+, and im talking like half the car is gone wrecked.

Ok this guy just emailed still expecting me to pay. I sent him a few insults and he replied back saying not to insult him because he lost his son. I looked up war casualties and guess what, no one by his last name was on the list within the past year in fact no one at all with his last name in any state.

Definately looks like NY plates. I know that you wanted to jump on the deal before someone else did, but to contact him through email, get a response, run out to send him money, post it up here, run back out to get your money back, etc all in a span of three hours is jumping the gun a little.
Glad to see it all worked out for ya

If you dont know already, me and my dad are huge toyota enthusiasts and any good deal on any toyota, we jump on it, fix it up a bit, then sell it for a small profit. When I saw this car I literally jumped off my chair. I then took a really really really good look at it and he said his son died. What kind of person would say that if their son didnt die? I hope he rots in hell for that. He then tells me he is a 62 year old man with honor, pff my ass. Nobody with his last name was even wounded in the war.

We are constantly looking around. Trying to find them cheap and trying to get some project cars but right now we need cash becuase we got a huge loan to pay off for one of our stores still and we are buying another business. We got about $150k left on our latest store and we need to fork up another $150k for this new business which will be a partnership among my dad and a bunch of his friends. Its a gas station, total is a few mil but dont know exact. My dad was hoping to make an easy $10k off this car but the bastard is a fraud.

Yeah... saw that auction a couple days ago just looking around. No matter what, if it's too good of a deal and they want it by western union/etc. then stay far away.
