    is this site kind of slow?

    hmmmmmmmm.....dont mean to hate, but is it just me or is this site kinda slow? threads and posts wise........post comments

    you must be thinkin of that *other* site... ;)

    aside from being down for a couple hours once a year for maintenance, this site has been stable and hasn't had any issues. the gigabit pipe on the level(3) backbone its on, at peak, is only 13% saturated traffic so there aren't any speed issues on the backbone. perhaps its your provider?

    however, if you're talking about activity, then yeah, its been a little slow lately, but thats to be expected with summer. You get bursts here and there of lots of traffic, but many people are actually out doing things and have a life so they are not on here as much.

    bingo........and summer is the perfect excuse to have this place pulsing like crazy, people should be out on the roads crusing with their cars, working on their cars, sharing kill stories, or whatever.......summer should be a perfect time to come here, or maybe its just us toyota guys that are not working and driving our cars in the summer? hmmmmm......??? keep the comments coming

    Not much of a story to tell, she's almost stock, but the kill stories are more plentiful than from when I had my old 4AFE 3 Spd. Auto Corolla :)

    when i had my (auto)corolla had killed a 98 altima w/sri and 99 civic with sri, custom exhaust and he removed his a/c belt to cheat and i didnt even know til after the race.oh yeah i forget my mods on my car was sri,thermal catback and removed my spear tire.

    I used to post on the board much more frequently than I have been lately. It's mostly due to summer, but also the fact that not much is going on as far as advancements in the arena of Corolla performance.

    On the other hand, I read in the latest Automobile that because of the bold design of the new Civic, Toyota redesigned the upcoming Corolla to make it more aggressive, as well. The pics still looked pretty bland to me though.

    I just drove 300 miles and got 38mpg highway, not bad since that's the rating :D
    lots of level turrain, some mountains, lots of twisties. always fun to loose the guy riding your bumper in an SUV because he has to slow down to 30mph going around a turn while you can take it at 60.

    Same guy is thinking its always fun to lose the guy riding your bumper in a car because he has to slow down to 15mph going over that bump while he takes it at 60....hehe
