I finally broke down and forced my dad into painting my car for 1500 dollars and I get to have anything I want done to it done at that price. Dont ask me why my dad wont do it for free ( long as a muhhh fuuuhhh story). I am getting it repainted the blue that is on the subaru wrx. Everything from the door sills, engine bay, under the hood , water drain area of trunk, trunk walls, and trunk lid bottom will be painted. I shaved the area where the rear bumper meats the body with 4 layers of fiberglass and bondo myself he is going to check my work and fix if needed and fix any dents in the car. Might i add the car is a 1998 Chevy Prizm with a 2001 corolla front end I know it sounds gay but it looks pretty darn good in my opinion and it bolted right on. what I want to do is figure out what kinda stuff yall guys think I should get my dad to shave off, Modify, and custom fabricate before he paints it so I can get it to look awesome. and suggestions would be apreciated

you have a prizm? do you have any pics of it with the front end. i also have a prizm, shave the trunk lock if your going to shave anything. and get rid of the side molding. just my $.02

shave the rear door handles, your antenna if its the same as the corolla.

Yeah if your going to paint you should shave everything Go nuts. As for the paint job I think you should do a red/black two tone like the Bugatti Veron, or however you spell it.

yeah shave the antenna. its not like the corolla, the prizm has it on the rear fender, and its UGLY.

Is that cf hood or just ricer hood pin on stock hood?

its not carbonfiber but I had to take the hood latch off for this to work on a prizm

why not just move the latch to make it fit?

it should have fit because it is on the same front crossmember on both cars and in the same position..

Do a rear end conversion too then no one will know its a prizm.

in order to do a rear end convertion youd have to change the rear quarter panels, trunk lid and bumper.
