    The Omen

I havent seen the original but I saw this tonite (opening night). There are quite a few surprises cuz I didnt expect certain things to happen....in other words, there are twists in the movie, particularly with what happens with the characters. Another thing is that this movie has a bunch of parts where things jump out at you from the dogs, the nanny, the bathroom, etc (trust me, im not giving much away)...It kept making the whole audience scream. It reminded me of Final Destination because of how they kinda had an idea of how they were gonna die...you'll see what im talkin about. There wasnt much down time in the movie...it kept its suspense fairly well. However, A LOT of people kept crackin up, including me, because the movie seemed like it was part comedy altho im sure the makers of this film had no intention of making the parts that were funny, funny. For example, there's a priest on there named Oogenhahgen, or something like that and the main character said it and it was pretty funny...but newayz, yea, just petty sh*t like that made some of the movie funny....Overall, I would say that this movie is worth watching. However, if you have any history of heart complications, I suggest you not see this movie, lol, mainly because of all the sh*t they have pop out at you...

I saw it last night, and I agree with TurismoDreamin. There was a good amount of startling parts, and some unintentional comedy. Technically this movie should have been the 6/1/06, as the Number of the Beast was confirmed to be 616 just last year.

    SPOILER

The part where Damien rides his scooter around the house reminded me of The Shining.

My favorite part had to be when the second nanny finally got hit by the car. She was a complete *****. Everyone in the theatre applauded her departure.

ADDING ON TO THE SPOILER POSTED ABOVE.....

^^I agree with the scooter thing...thats exactly what i was thinkin when i saw that....then the parts where the nanny just gets her ass beat completely at the very end from gettin kicked in the face to gettin plowed by the car was awesome...the dogs jumping out at the cemetary was totally unneccessary, lol cuz that scared the sh*t outta me...same with the bathroom cuz i expected it, ya kno, cuz i saw it on the previews but, it was still got me to jump...
